Human Resource Management
It is made up of three words Human, Resource and Management. Let us understand one by one all the three components.
Management
Management is doing the things
effectively and efficiently with limited resources to obtain the desired goals.
Resources
Resources are the means which are
used to accomplish some task or work like Money, Machine, Material, Market,
Method and Men.
Human Resource
Human
resource/Personnel/Manpower/Workforce are all employees or individuals engaged
in any organizational activity, regardless of their level for performing the
task given to them for the purpose of achievement of goals of the Organization.
Definition

Personnel Management, or say, Human
resource management is the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of
the procurement, development, compensation, integration, maintenance and
separation of
human resources to the end that individual, organizational and societal
objectives are accomplished.
Human Resource Management is the
organizational function that deals with issues related to people such as
hiring, compensation, performance management, safety & wellness, benefits,
employee motivation, communication, administration, training and organization
development.
